On 8 May 2023 the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina welcomed members of the Debate Club of University of Mostar.

In the framework of their visit to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Debate Club members had an opportunity to attend a court hearing and then speak with members of the Legal Department, Witness Support Section and Public Information and Outreach Section of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The students were rather interested in attending the hearing and learning more about the court’s history, its organization and the process of conducting trials, and showed special interest in the WSS operation, in the role of legal advisors and the method of providing support to court panels. They also had the opportunity to watch a video recording of a war crimes hearing at which a witness under protective measures testified before the court.

The students thanked their hosts for the quality organization of their visit and the useful information they received.
